Fees and Client Information

See below for detail on my fees for service. My rates are competitive with similar service providers in the area and are set below the Australian Psychological Society's suggested fee for a standard psychological consultation. It is important to me to ensure my services are accessible to clients. If cost is a determinant of whether you will seek help or not, please contact me for a confidential discussion.

In person individual therapy

Occurs in person at either of my rooms in Caulfield South or St Kilda. Sessions last 50 minutes. I accept Mental Health Care Plans with GP referral to provide Medicare rebates ($98.95). My services are eligible for Private Health insurance rebates. You may be eligible to claim psychological services from your Private Health insurer depending on your level of cover. To claim a rebate, you need to ensure that you are covered by ancillary benefits insurance (extras cover). I am also a registered WorkSafe service provider (WorkCover). To claim, I require details of your case-manager and your claim number prior to your first appointment so I can confirm your eligibility and invoicing. Assessments or reports incur the same hourly fee.

Career coaching is delivered by Mark Fischer, who has deep experience working with individual contributors and senior leaders on strategy, people, leadership, mentoring, and coaching.

A single 60-minute coaching session is $400 plus GST.

A six-session package is $2,000 plus GST, which works out to approximately $333 per session.

Career coaching fees may be tax-deductible where the coaching is directly related to your current employment or business income. The Australian Taxation Office generally treats coaching that improves your performance in your current role as deductible self-education or professional development. Coaching aimed at moving into a new field or income source is treated differently and may not qualify. Please confirm your individual position with your accountant or registered tax agent.

Where an employer funds coaching as part of professional development, please raise invoicing arrangements at intake.
